Experience
Grahame Danaher brings a wealth of executive experience to Danaher Consulting, built on a career spanning senior leadership roles in health insurance, aged care, and business advisory services. As Managing Director of Westfund Health Insurance from 1996 to 2016, Grahame oversaw a remarkable period of growth, increasing annual revenue from $7 million to over $200 million. Under his leadership, Westfund achieved profitability levels among the highest in the industry, reflecting a strong strategic vision and disciplined operational execution.
Following his tenure at Westfund, Grahame served as a business advisor to Hunter Health Insurance between 2017 and 2018. During this time, he played a key role in developing growth strategies and implementing operational improvements that helped turn the organisation around and position it for future success.
In 2019, Grahame took on the role of CEO at Lithgow Aged Care, a facility under administration at the time. Through careful negotiation and leadership, he was able to secure a sale that ensured the ongoing operation of the facility and continuity of care for its residents.
Since 2021, Grahame has led Danaher Consulting, providing strategic guidance and practical solutions across a range of projects and industries. Drawing on decades of senior management experience, he continues to help organisations navigate complex challenges and unlock new opportunities for growth and resilience.

Grahame Danaher holds a strong academic and professional foundation that complements his extensive leadership experience. He is a graduate of the prestigious Harvard Business School, where he developed advanced strategic and executive leadership capabilities.
He is also a Certified Practitioner in a number of psychometric instruments through the Myers-Briggs organisation, equipping him with the tools to support leadership development, team performance, and organisational insight.
